Adivi revealed, “When we were editing the film, my assistant Prasad came in. He is my boy, makes coffee, takes care of me, and makes sure that I am fine. I ask him to watch the film.”

The dakot actor revealed that he was proud after watching Gudhari’s first half as he felt that he was bringing back spying films in South India.

Adivi asked his assistant about his opinion on the film after watching the first draft. Prasad then told Adivi, “Sir, all this is fine. If he wants to be like his father, why is he doing comedy in his training scenes?”

Adivi considered it a simple deep question yet, which moved his vision on the symptoms of the main character.

After this response, the actor shared that he deleted 22 minutes from the film. He mentioned how he felt that the film had gone. However, Adivi revealed that he took the team’s opinion before removing the scene.

When he contacted the director, he came to know that the director had earlier suggested the same change that he did not consider.

Adivi reported that, after removing the 22 -minute footage, he decided to write a connecting scene between the two parts of the film. To complete this, they would need to shoot a five -minute scene, which required additional budget.

He said that, since Gudachari was a detective film, it took him a month to write this scene. Adivi said that due to these amendments, the release from May 2018 to August 2018 was postponed.

Goodachari released on August 3, 2018.
