Veteran actress Farida Jalal spoke to IndiaToday.in about her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan. She said that she has lost touch with Shah Rukh and Salman Khan in the last few years. Jalal has played Shah Rukh’s mother in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and other films.

When Farida Jalal was asked about being in touch with Shah Rukh, she said, “No, I am not in touch with Shah Rukh. He has probably changed his number.”

However, she recalled the time when Shah Rukh Khan called her during her shoulder surgery. She said, “He called me suddenly. I had a shoulder surgery and I was consulting the doctor he goes to. He must have told Shah Rukh. He called me and advised me. He was very sweet.”

“Farida ji, I want to tell you, This is shoulder surgery right? (After this shoulder surgery), don’t be impatient. It will take a lot of time to get that movement back’”, Shah Rukh advised Jalal. She added, “I was very worried why I couldn’t lift my arm up. He called me; I felt very good when he called. He said, ‘Farida YesThe ‘Heeramandi’ actor told us, “Just don’t worry, it takes time. After a year, you will be able to lift your hand well. But it takes time, so don’t lose patience.”
