On June 18, Farhan Akhtar-directed ‘Lakshya’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in the lead roles, completed 20 years of its release. On this occasion, Farhan and his producing partner Ritesh Sidhwani spoke exclusively to Pinkvilla. The two opened up about the challenges of making this army-based film and are proud that their work has stood the test of time and has inspired thousands of people to join the Indian Army.
Farhan Akhtar confirms, “Don 3 will start in 2025”
During the conversation, Farhan was asked about his next directorial venture. For those who don’t know, Farhan last directed Shah Rukh Khan in Don 2, which released in 2012. Sharing his plans, Farhan said, “We will start shooting for Don 3 next year. I am really looking forward to it. We have announced that we will start shooting for Don 3. live it a bit Also, this is another film that I will be directing. It has been a while since I directed a film and I can’t complain about it because I enjoyed being a part of some great films. I feel a very strong desire to direct these films
When asked if he has finalised the shooting deadline, the actor laughed and said, “It is not just about my dates. There are many people involved and the dates have to match. But, as a director, you will definitely see both my films.” Farhan Akhtar is currently busy preparing for his next film, after which he will work in Don 3. Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani from the first quarter of 2024.
