Golmaal is one of the most loved comedy film franchises in India which played an important role in establishing Rohit Shetty’s career in Bollywood. While it’s fun banter, lightheartedness and humor has been entertaining audiences for years, fans have been waiting for another goofball movie. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, the filmmaker was asked if he has any new updates about the next film in the franchise to share with his fans. In his reply, Rohit told us that he will soon make another Golmaal film.
Apart from confirming a new film, he hinted at its deadline and mentioned that they will be working on it soon before starting work on another police film.
“I think the next film will definitely be Golmaal before any cop film,” he said. The audience applauded this statement of Rohit.

The same film duo Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty have recently worked on the action-packed Singham Again. Therefore, he was asked whether he found it difficult to suddenly shift to another genre while working on one. The De De Pyaar De actor said that working on different subjects is not a challenge for him.
He said, “We are not going from one world to another on the set, we are going from one world to another between the action and the cut, now you see the same on the set, after he cuts the shot you Can’t do this, I can’t behave like Singam and keep going.” It’s like Singam all around so I have to be normal otherwise you will go crazy.”
Similarly, the Bol Bachchan filmmaker shared that he enjoys working on a film like Golmaal after making an intense action film like Singham. He said that it keeps him fresh like ‘detox’ due to its light theme and he is happy to work on it.
Shetty said, “I wait for any big Singham after Singham. I want to live in a world where it’s light and happy and I’m not worried.
