Exclusive: Allu Arjun found my Animal role powerful, says actor Saurabh Sachdeva
Saurabh Sachdeva talks to India Today Digital about working with Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2 and how his roles in Animal and Pushpa 2 have boosted his popularity. He reflected on the cultural roots of South Indian films and praised his co-stars, Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil.

Actor Saurabh Sachdeva, who played Bobby Deol’s brother in Animal, recently talked about working on Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. Speaking to India Today Digital, Sachdeva explained how his journey unfolded. He credited films like Animal and Pushpa 2 for increasing his popularity.

The actor admitted that things changed for him after Animal, “I’m the same way. I go to work every day, teach and do my regular work. Sachdeva said that people knew and appreciated her even before Animal, Jaane Jaan and Mumbai Meri Jaan. The actor said, “But Animal definitely changed a lot of things for me. It was because of Animal that I got Pushpa 2.”

The actor praised his Pushpa 2 co-stars, Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. Talking about Fahadh, she said, “It was great working with him. He is very open and free. He was immediately very friendly to me. He has a very youthful energy. It was fun to share screen space with him.”

Speaking about Allu Arjun, he said, “When I met him for the first time, I was mesmerized by his vanity van – it looked beautiful from outside.
