Gold glitter and glamor ruled the red carpet at the first star-studded event of the year: The Golden Globe Awards.
Held in Beverly Hills, California on January 5, the Golden Globes set the fashion tone for the year as stars paraded down the red carpet in their best attire. Celebrities in attendance included Zendaya, Demi Moore, Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie, Mindy Kaling, Emma Stone and Nicole Kidman, turning the 2025 Globes into a truly fashion-forward event.
2025 is going to be the year of bold maximalism – that’s what the red carpet scenario suggested. This trend has emerged after ‘quiet luxury’ and ‘minimal elegance’ ruled the fashion game in the last few years.

Fine, shiny, covered in shimmering satin or sequins, golden creations of all kinds were displayed at The Globes.
Mindy Kaling embraced maximalism in an Ashi Studio strapless golden gown adorned with dazzling silver stones. Kristen Bell’s choice for the night was also an Ashi Studio creation in rose gold – a sequined bustier and skirt set.
The night’s host, Nikki Glaser, also wore a stunning gold silk gown by designer Prabal Gurung. Her outfit featured floral wrap detail and a bold plunging neckline.
Cate Blanchett also looked stunning in a high-on-bling Louis Vuitton golden gown with an impressive bubble bustier.
Demi Moore won big at The Globes this year – not only by winning the award for her performance in ‘The Substance’ but also for her fashion choices. She looked very beautiful in a sparkling champagne gold gown by Armani Prive. The crystal embellishments, we must add, further increased the glam quotient!
