Alyssa Milano, who worked with Dane Charmedshared a lengthy tribute: “I can’t stop seeing that spark in Eric’s eyes right before he says something that either makes you spit out your drink or rethink your entire perspective. He had a very sharp sense of humor. He loved the absurdity of things. He loved surprising people.”
“And when it came to his daughters and Rebecca, everything in him softened. He took them with him even into rooms where they didn’t exist. You could see it in the way his voice changed when he said their names. A breathtakingly beautiful family. The spark. The mischief. A tenderness that he preserved but never completely hid,” Milano continued.
Nina Dobrev, who appeared with Dane in the 2022 film Redeeming Love, wrote, “Heartbroken to hear of Eric’s passing. He was warm, generous, prepared, and very passionate about his work. He led with kindness and made everyone on our set feel included. ALS is a cruel and unforgiving disease. May his memories inspire more research, awareness, and progress toward a cure. He will be greatly missed. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to his family.”
