Aashirvad Cinemas and Action-Thrinter L2 Empuraan, produced by Sree Gokulam Movies, continue their winning runs at the box office. On its ninth day in theaters, the Malayalam-language film earned a net of Rs 2.9 crore across India, according to the Udyog Tracker Sacillaq. The film’s lead actor Mohanlal also shared the news that L2E is now the highest grossing Malayalam film.

During its initial week, the film secured an impressive place of Rs 88.25 crore in the domestic market. With the latest figures, its total Indian net collection is now Rs 91.15 crore after nine days.

The film has also performed strongly abroad. In North America, it crossed the $ 2.4 million mark in its first week, as confirmed by filmmakers. On Thursday, the manufacturers announced on X that L2 Emperan has crossed Rs 30 crore in foreign earnings.

Allegedly, on a budget of Rs 180 crore, L2: Empuraan made headlines on March 27, on its release day, by giving a biggest inauguration with a net of Rs 21 crore in India.

The film’s lead actor, Mohanlal, shared the news of L2 Empuraan’s news as an industry on X. He wrote, ” #l2e #Puraan now ruins as the highest -grossing film in Malayalam cinema history.
