Elon Musk only canceled her Netflix membership, but why
Elon Musk has canceled his Netflix account in view of the controversies of Hamish Steel, director of the Annimited Series’ Dead End: Paranormal Park.

Elon Musk has canceled her Netflix membership. The reason for that? The billionaire does not want to pay for a platform that appoints those who cross a line with their ideology and public comments in their views. Musk’s stance against Netflix comes in response to Hamish Steel, the animated Netflix Series Dead End: Paranormal Park’s creator. The controversy around steel erupted after one of his social media posts for the purpose of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Backlash against Steel began when he posted an explain-limit comment, referring to Kirk as “Nazi”. The post came in view of Kirk’s murder, and it quickly spread to social media. Several accused Steel made fun of the death of a right -wing figure using aggressive language. Meanwhile, his supporters argued that the comment was being excluded from the context, but screenshots of the old positions of steel soon intensify the debate.

Adding fuel to the fire, the Department of Energy Nuclear Scientist Mat Van Swolt condemned Netflix to publicly employ steel. In a viral social media post, van swollen revealed that he had canceled his membership, writing: “If you appoint someone who has celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder and makes materials that push the pro-transit content on my children … then you will never get my money.” Musk directly responded to this post with a confirmation of the word: “Same.”

Musk’s stance against a platform or person is not surprising. He has often criticized anything that does not align with his ideology, and he has often talked about his opposition to what he says “Vok Mind Virus” especially on sex identity issues. On several occasions, she refers to her personal experience with her daughter’s transition, claiming that she was influenced by what she sees as ideological indigenization.
Meanwhile, the Netflix Show of Dead End: Paranormal Park -Steel – has also come under the ongoing investigation. Clips from the animated Children’s series began to roam at X, alleging that it forwards the ideological message on the young audience. In response to one of these posts, Musk went ahead and called Steel a “groomer”. However, steel supporters defended the show’s LGBTQ+ themes as positive representation and rejected Musk’s comments as harmful rhetoric to the creators of the queue.
So far, Netflix has not issued any official statement on the cancellation of Musk’s membership or a broad backlash against Steel.
