Elon Musk asked Satya Nadella why Microsoft Staff appeared to celebrate Charlie Kirk Shooting
On X, the shocking murder of Charlie Cancer during a public event in Utah provoked the flood of reactions. Among them, Elon Musk directed fast questions after a post in Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, highlighting a post that Activon Blizzard employees, a Microsoft -owned gaming veteran, celebrated the murder.

The Governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, has described the murder of Charlie Kirk as a politically inspired “murder”. According to officials, the shot was expelled from an elevated place at a distance of 200 yards from the program at Utah University, and the suspect was arrested in Washington, after accepting a family member.
This was a time before the incident, especially on X (East Twitter), especially provoked reactions within X (East Twitter). On the platform, a user posted, “Somebody posted a mega-thread of Blizard Devas that is trading Charlie Kirk … Wow,” Microsoft’s subsidiary referring to a thread allegedly made by developers in Activation Blocks. The contents and authenticity of the thread have not been verified independently. Nevertheless, it has become a focal point for extensive interactions about political discourse among employees in the technology sector.

X owner Elon Musk entered the discussion by tagging Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella directly in response to Thread. Musk wrote, “What is happening here, @satyanadella?” The comment brought Microsoft and its gaming assistant activities Blizard into public debate, which raised questions about employee behavior and online commentary after high-profile events. So far, there is no official reaction from the microsoft or Activation Blizzard in relation to the post.

The screenshots of the alleged thread were broadcast online, although it is unconfirmed whether the comments were made by the actual Microsoft or Activities Blizzard employees. The nature of the posts, which allegedly criticized Charlie Kirk, has given air to the ongoing conversation on social media with political programs and their employees. This discussion reflects sensitivity around the intersection of technology workplaces and political events.
By focusing on online reactions, social media has played a role in increasing events beyond its immediate circumstances. While the author of the thread has no independent verification, the conversation has widespread to investigate how public and private sector employees express controversial events. The situation faces challenges facing technology firms in moderating employee conduct in politically polarized environment.
But it does not stop here. The ongoing online war is between two extremists- leftists and rightists. As usual, musk is quite active on the platform indicating opposite ideas. Like the alleged Microsoft employee’s case, Musk has also targeted professionals supporting the murder. For example, he rebuilt a post stating, “The American Airlines pilot who was caught celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder, has been removed from service by @Americanair.”
In another similar post, he showed support for a secret service worker, who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder and placed him on immediate leave.
While Musk has worked hard to highlight and criticize almost every post that celebrates the unfortunate incident, his AI Venture’s chatbot, Groke, has called Trump Ellis. Discussing the incident, Groke described Trump’s voters as a “killer”. An X user flagged off this information and tagged Kasturi in the post, “Your Vok Chatbot is out of control exactly.”

He said that Since XAI’s chatbot has abolished the figures that “75 percent of US extremist killings (2013-2022) by right-wing actors”, Left were using it as the fact what happened in the case of Charlie Kirk.
Responding to this, Musk immediately apologized and called it, “Cring idioci by Groke.”
As the investigation is on, the authorities focus on the facts around the shooting and the inspirations of the suspect. Public discourses about the incident continue, but no more details have been released about companies involved for employees or official statements of any comprehensive results in relation to online comments. The incident, which included conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk, has debated both offline and online, with further investigation on social media posts from employees of remarkable technology companies.
