Elli Avram reacts to linkup rumours: Not all Bollywood dinners are dates | Exclusive
Elli Avram clears up her dating rumours, says not all Bollywood dinners are dates. She will be next seen in Beintehaa.

Model-actress Elli Avram spoke to India Today Digital about dating rumours and how she is often linked with others. She is gearing up for the release of her upcoming short film Beintehaa opposite Prateik Babbar.
Elli told India Today Digital, “There have been countless times when something has been written about me that is not true. I sometimes wonder why some members of the press are not responsible and check the facts before blowing things out of proportion. After all, I am a girl and these things affect me.”
Recalling an old incident, Elli said, “Right after I entered Bigg Boss, I remember headlines were made about me going to an actor’s house for dinner. Soon after that, there were link-up rumours between me and that actor because I went to his house for dinner. Just to clarify, I was not the only one who was invited for that dinner, there were others present as well. But, what made news was that I was spotted leaving his house. All I want to say is that not all Bollywood dinners are dates.”

She further added, “After all, I am a girl and when such things are written about me, it tarnishes my reputation. An actor’s credibility is lost. I am not saying that whatever has been written is all a lie. All I am saying is that sometimes, two co-stars meet apart from work and maybe discuss work or it is just another meeting. I have been single for quite some time now, but still, I sometimes read link-up stories about myself and it shocks me.”
Elli also reacted to the rumours of her linkup with Prateik Babbar. She said, “For quite a long time even I didn’t know, until Prateik told me about it. Firstly, sometimes, as actors, we appear or are seen together because of our work as a part of promotions. Prateik has a fiancée and he calls me ‘sister’. So it doesn’t make sense to link us. Just because we have good chemistry on screen, it doesn’t mean we are a real life couple to do so. As actors, it’s our job to convince our audience and make them believe in what we are trying to show on screen.”
