Producer Ekta Kapoor’s production house raised an alarm on social media, warning aspiring actors against fake casting directors, claiming to be associated with Balaji Telefilms. The statement warned the actors not to fall prey to such fraud people.

The statement said, “All castings for Balaji Telefilms projects are fully done through our official and verified channels. We urge the aspiring talent and the general public to take precautions and avoid joining such fraudulent representations.”

Balaji Telefilms’ Instagram handle captioned the warning post: “Important notice: Any account claiming the casting authority outside our official channels is fraud.

On the work front, the film and television producer revived his longest daily soap ‘Kyanki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi’ after 17 years. The lead artists of the series, including actor Amar Upadhyay as well as actor and former Lok Sabha member (MP), Smriti Irani, also resumed their characters.
