Young Rajkumar-starrer Kannada language film Ekka was released in theaters on July 18, 2025. Now, the action drama film is all set to debut on OTT soon. Here are all the details.

Ekka is scheduled to release on the OTT platform Sun NXT and will start streaming from November 13, 2025. The official update was shared on the social media handles of the platform, which read, “Power moves.

Ekka tells the story of Muthu, a small-town man who is betrayed by his friend Ramesh, leaving him distraught. Seeking revenge, Muthu goes to Bengaluru in search of him.
Upon reaching the city, Muthu gets trapped in its underworld and gets caught in a gang war after a chance encounter in which he saves the life of a gangster.
As events spiral out of control, Muthu feels that he is putting his life and everything he once held dear in danger.
Ekka cast and crew
Ekka stars young Rajkumar in the lead role, while Sanjana Anand plays the female co-lead. Apart from the lead cast, the action drama also stars Sampada Huliwana, Atul Kulkarni, Aditya, Shruti, Sadhu Kokila, Rahul Dev Shetty, Purnachandra Mysore, Arun Sagar, Harini Srikanth, Dr. Suri, Puneeth Rudranag, Archana Kottige and many others in important roles.
The film is directed by Rohit Padaki, who has co-written the film with Vikram Hathwar. Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar, Jayanna Bhogendra, Karthik Gowda and Yogi ji. Produced by Raj, the film’s musical tracks and background score were composed by Charan Raj of Saptha Sagardache Elo fame.
Ekka’s cinematography was handled by Satya Hegde, Deepu S. Kumar was working as an editor.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, the action drama was a massive box-office success. The film was praised for its performances but criticized for its screenplay.
After Ekka, the young prince is expected to collaborate with director Dr. Suri for Bagheera, which is the actor’s third venture as a lead actor.
