Ed Sheeran’s praise in Arijit Singh’s Tumor Hi Ho in a hearty post: I was mesmerized
The English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently shared a heartbreaking note dedicated to Arijit Singh. Apart from cherishing his experience of scooter riding with Arjit, Ed praised ‘Tumor Hi Ho’ from ‘Aashiqui 2’.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who was recently in India and shot with Arjit Singh for a music video called ‘Neelam’, dedicated a hearty note to him. Ed said he was influenced by the talent of the singer. The English singer also nurtured his memories of going on a scooter ride with Arijit.
Ed shared a clip with ‘Neelam’ on his Instagram handle. He accepted to be mesmerized after listening to ‘Tumor Hi Ho’ while watching ‘Ashri 2’. The singer-songwriter wrote, “I was first aware of Arijit Singh’s music when I saw ‘Aashiqui 2’ and heard ‘Tumor Hi Ho’. I was properly mesmerized by his voice, song, scene in the film.”
Ed said that he later approached Arijit and even played an early version of ‘Neelam’ for him. He further wrote, “I checked him, and got into contact, and said that whenever you want to sing together, I am getting down. He was playing London, so I went to the guest with him and there was an incredible show, it was an incredible show. I played a initial version of Sapphire in the dressing room, and he immediately thought for instruments and melodies.”

The ‘Shape of You’ singer then traveled to Kolkata with Arijit and revealed how the latter introduced him to Punjabi and sitar. He said, “I and he got a flight to Kolkata, then on a 5 -and -a -half -hour drive in the city of his home. We arrived, went to a bargain under the river, which was stunning, then a scooty came back to the studio, where we finished the song. Arijit taught me Punjabi and I all pronounced it properly, and I was shown and I was shown. (SIC).”

Music video ‘Neelam’, a cooperation between Ed and Arijit released on 5 June. The song mesmerized fans as an English singer, also sang in Punjabi.
‘Neelam’ is the third track of the upcoming album of Ed, ‘Play’. Prior to ‘Neelam’, the singer released ‘Old Phone’ and ‘Azizam’
