Ed Sheeran says that seeing Om Shanti Om is like introducing someone to Star Wars
Ed Sheeran expressed his praise for actor Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and India’s cultural diversity. Their reflections highlight rich talents and unique cinematic experiences across India.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently talked about his love for India and Indian films and music. He compared to look at ‘Om Shanti Om’ to introduce someone to ‘Star Wars’.
Ed has recently shared a video on his YouTube channel, while interacting with New Joled-based DJ, Zen Lowe. Speaking about his love for Shah Rukh Khan and Hindi film music, he said, “It is a treasure of searching for films, and someone likes,” Oh, have you seen this film? ” Have you seen ‘Om Shanti Om’?
The singer further said, “This is a strange analogy, but it is almost for the first time to present Star Wars for someone, and they just like, ‘What is this f **?’ There are superstars singing in different languages in the same country.
He also recalled his visit to India and talked about the discovery of cultural diversity across the country. “The interesting thing about the entire tour of India was that we were the only reasons to shoot music videos. We thought we needed to go all over the country and shoot a little everywhere,” Ed said.
He said, “I think every hundred miles, culture, language, food, fashion, rhythm, and all this changed. Everywhere we were somewhat more interesting. There are also talents that have been present for decades that you would not have known,” he said.
Directed by Farah Khan, ‘Om Shanti Om’ narrates the story of rebirth, where a junior artist takes rebirth as a superstar. He later asks for a vengeance against the man who killed the woman whom he loved in a previous life.
The film started with actor Deepika Padukone at the beginning with Shah Rukh, who played the lead role. Actors Shreyas Talpade, Arjun Rampal, Kiron Kher and others also played an important role in the film.
Ed recently met Shah Rukh during his visit to India and was later painted in his music video ‘Neelam’. The song was a collaboration between English musician and Indian playback singer Arijit Singh.
A few months ago, the ‘Neelam’ singer admitted that he became a fan of Arijit after hearing ‘Tumor Hi Ho’ while watching ‘Ashi 2’.
