Ear 2025 day 1, and celebs are already snubbing new dress code
Next to the inauguration of the Cannes Film Festival, the Organizing Committee announced new dress code rules for ‘decency’ purposes, but many celebrities ignored them.
In the very early day of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, many attendees were seen running into a newly declared dress code, which prevented them from embracing nude dressing and turning them into voluminous enclosures.
The day 1 red carpet of the International Film Festival was filled with excessive sortorial drama, which is known for it. Celebrities such as Heidi Clum and Chinese actor Van Kuanhui rejected the new rules, as they had posted on the prestigious red carpet in French Riviera in furious organizations.
Next to the inauguration of the Cannes Film Festival, its organizing committee announced some new dress code guidelines for ‘decency’ purposes.
“For the causes of decency, nudity is restricted on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival. Especially in people with a large train, who are obstructed the proper flow of guests and not allowed to sit in the theater,” read in updated guidelines.
The new dress code impressed many people, including American actress and model Hale Berry, who had to change their organization at the last minute due to the new rules.
Berry said, “There was a wonderful dress by Gupta (possibly Gaurav Gupta) to wear tonight, and I could not wear it because the train is very big.”
However, many people did not care about the rules. Heidi Clum was one of them. She wore a maximalist floral Elli Saab gown in a direct violation of the new dress code of the festival.
There was a long train in Ether Ensambal.

Chinese actor and influential Van Kianhui also ignored the new dress code. She wore an all-white strapless gown with a billing, cloudlease and tier voluminous skirts.

Actress Eva Longoria also wore a strapless metallic gown with a long black train.

Influencer and ‘Dubai Bling’ star Farhana Body also turned into a stunning pink gown, featuring sculpture Rafles and a flowing petal cape from Label Atalier Zuhra.

This year, many Indian celebrities, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nitanshi Goyal and Shalini Pasi, will follow the Red Carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
