Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 3 is currently in production and is expected to wrap up its shooting soon. Now, production company Panorama Studios has announced that they have acquired multiple rights of the film, leading fans to speculate about the release of the Malayalam film.
Is Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 3 set to release simultaneously with other language adaptations?
Several online trackers recently shared an official note indicating that production and distribution company Panorama Studios has purchased the theatrical, digital and aerial rights of Drishyam 3.
As per the note, Panorama Studios has acquired the exclusive worldwide theatrical rights from producer Ashirwad Cinemas in both India and overseas. However, with the rights now in their hands, many fans are speculating whether this might delay the release of the Malayalam version.
As the rights have been sold, many fans wonder if the film might be released only along with its Hindi and Telugu remakes.
Earlier reports had suggested that all the Malayalam film adaptations would hit the theaters simultaneously. However, production of the other versions has not started yet, while the Mohanlal-starrer is already nearing completion of filming.
There is also talk that the Malayalam version may release first, with the rest of the adaptations later. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers.

Mohanlal’s next films
Mohanlal will next be seen in the bilingual film Vrishabh, which will release on December 25, 2025. After completing Drishyam 3, the superstar will be temporarily seen in the title L365. The upcoming film is said to be a police-comedy venture, with actress Mira Jasmine rumored to play the co-lead role.
