Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are set to explore love, mystery, and emotional chaos in A24’s upcoming film DramaAnd its newly released trailer promises an intense relationship story full of mystery. Set to premiere on April 3, the film depicts a perfect romance that begins after a shocking revelation.
In DramaZendaya plays Emma, an English graduate working at Mission Books, while Pattinson plays Charlie, the director of the Cambridge Art Museum who has a PhD in art history. The pair appear deeply in love and emotionally secure – until a single confession threatens to destroy everything they’ve built together.
The trailer introduces viewers to an intimate evening shared by Emma and Charlie with another couple, played by Alana Haim and Mamoudou Athie. What starts out as a casual wine night soon turns into an emotionally charged confession game. However, when it comes to Emma’s turn, the trailer cleverly withholds her revelation, only showing the stunned reactions of those around the table. That moment becomes the catalyst for a series of events that throw Emma and Charlie’s relationship into turmoil just days before their wedding.
The trailer hints at portraying moments of rising tension, emotional confrontation and instability between the couple. In one charming scene, Emma urges Charlie to move on, saying, “You have to stop thinking about it,” as he struggles to process the confession and its consequences.

He further emphasized the film’s thematic depth with the line, “It’s about acceptance. Radical acceptance,” underscoring the story’s exploration of emotional boundaries within romantic relationships.
Drama It is the first of three projects to be released this year starring both Zendaya and Pattinson. The two actors are also set to share screen space in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation odyssey And Denis Villeneuve’s final installment dune Franchise.
