Dragon, in which Pradeep Ranganathan led and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, continued to entertain the audience in Tamil Nadu. Since its release on 21 February 2025, the film has been the largest crowd, in which no competition prevents the box office from becoming a blockbuster.
Dragon adds Rs 1.50 crore in 14 days; Wraps 2 weeks for more than Rs 65 crore in Tamil Nadu
Co-integrated Anupama Parameshewaran, Kayudu Lohar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Messkin, Dragon added another Rs and Rs 1.50 crore to the Tally on 14 days (2 Thursday). The romantic comedy wrapped its second week on an unprecedented figure of Rs 65.85 crore at the worldwide box office. Out of which, it recorded around Rs 24 crore in the second week, while Rs 41 crore came from the initial week.
The film, which is very much liked, is expected to watch some spikes in its third weekend. However, it will face a big dent in the India vs New Zealand Cricket match on Sunday (March 9), although there is nothing to lose in the film. Globally, Pradeep Ranganathan is going close to starrer Ajit Kumar’s Vidamuyarchi. If it manages to catch well for a few more weeks, it will cross it and get #1 location between the Tamil release of 2025.
