Sunil has now opened about the same and mentioned that for KL, it is never about Virat’s beating, but is doing well for the team.
KL Rahul is currently playing the role of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He hit a stunning century for his team Delhi Capital in his match against Titans in Gujarat on 18 May. He completed 8000 runs in the T20 format and became the fastest Indian to defeat Virat Kohli’s record to reach Milestone.
In a recent conversation with ANI, Sunil Shetty talked about KL’s major achievement. He said that he knew only one thing about KL Rahul that he was very emotional about playing for the country. The actor continued, “He wants to play all the format, whether it is number 1, number 5, number 8, number 10, or number 11.” yes. “He said that being a part of Team India, the cricketer was the most important.
Sunil Shetty further shared that KL Rahul praised Virat Kohli and he was a very good friend. “So, I don’t think he would be happy just because he is breaking Virat Kohli’s record. He will be happy because he has done well,” he said. According to him, KL was not focused on the beating of Virat or Rohit Sharma. He said that the batsmen wanted to contribute to the success of the team and help them win. “It all matters,” he concluded.
While Suniel Shetty is quite busy on the work front with many projects, he is also enjoying his personal life. Athiya Shetty, the daughter of the chief hoon na actor, welcomed her first child with KL Rahul on March 24, 2025. The new parents revealed their baby girl’s name in a special post.
