How to make Halwai Style Soan Papdi at Home:
First of all, heat ghee in a pan. Now reduce the flame and add flour and gram flour and fry till it gets roasted well. After some time, turn off the flame and add a pinch of cardamom powder to it. – Now filter the roasted mixture with the help of a strainer. Keep aside.
For the next step, place a pan on flame, add some sugar, water and lemon juice and cook till the sugar melts. Spread sugar syrup in another pan and knead until it becomes thick and spreadable. Slowly add the flour mixture and cook.
In the next step, take a small bowl, add some chopped dry fruits and add a small portion of the soan papdi mixture. Press gently until the mixture sets. Turn the soan papdi over, take it out and wrap it in a plastic sheet.
Repeat the process. And you have ready made halwai style soan papdi at home.
