Divya Khosla reacts to Karan Johar’s cryptic post on Jigra controversy: No voice, no spine
Actor-director Divya Khosla recently reacted to Karan Johar’s cryptic post on the Jigra controversy. Divya had claimed that Alia Bhatt’s recent release Jigra is a copy of her film Saavi.

After Divya Khosla accused Jigra of copying her film Saavi, which released in May, filmmaker Karan Johar shared a cryptic post, indicating that ‘silence is the best response’. Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra releases in theaters on October 11. In response to KJO’s subtle criticism, Divya made a bold statement.
Karan’s post read, “The best speech given to fools is silence.” Although the filmmaker did not explicitly address the controversy, the timing of his post indicates that it was a subtle response to Divya’s allegations against Alia Bhatt.

Following the same, Divya gave a sharp reply on her Instagram story. “When you become accustomed to shamelessly stealing what is rightfully the property of others, you will always take refuge in silence. You will have no voice, no spine,” he wrote.

On October 12, Divya had accused Alia Bhatt of rigging the box office numbers. “Jigra had gone to City Mall PVR for the show. The theater was completely empty, all theaters everywhere were getting empty. #aliabhatt I really have a lot of love for it.. This comes after the ongoing discussion regarding the similarity between Divya’s film Saavi and Jigra. Acknowledging them, Divya expressed her gratitude for being the first one to explore this genre, and emphasized that both the films have their own distinct journeys.
Saavi, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, tells the story of a housewife attempting to free her husband from a high-security prison in England, taking inspiration from the story of Savitri and Satyavan. During this time, Jigra revolves around Alia Bhatt’s character. Who plots to escape from jail to save her brother.
