Divya Khosla is not mincing words. During a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything session, the actress opened up about stepping into Bollywood, calling the industry a “place full of crocodiles” and insisting that she would “never sell (her) soul” for work. This exchange soon became a highlight of her AMA, with fans praising her honesty and candidness about the pressures of showbiz.

Khosla answered a variety of questions – from mental health to memorable shoots – and one user asked how she stays positive despite the “toxicity” and expectations in Bollywood. He answered honestly, “I think Bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around, and you feel like you have to fight your way through it.”

He stressed the importance of establishing oneself in a demanding industry. “The most important thing is to stay true to yourself. I would never sell my soul to get work.” If it happens, it’s okay, if it doesn’t happen, it’s okay tooMore importantly, when you reach the top, you should have a good list of deeds to take with you,” she said,

When Khosla was asked about his most memorable film, he immediately named saviHe recalled the 42-day schedule in sub-zero temperatures across the UK, calling it his “most amazing shoot”, “It was almost minus 10 degrees, non-stop, But the production was so well-organized that it set a benchmark for me to compare it with all my other films,”

The AMA also took a personal turn when one user pointedly asked, “Are you divorced?” Khosla dismissed this with humour: “No. But the media really wants it.” She has been married to Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and MD of T-Series, since 2005.

Khosla was last seen in the thriller-comedy a clever sloganNeil co-starred with Nitin Mukesh, where she played the role of Mamta Mishra, a woman facing unexpected challenges to support her family.
