Malayalam director Jeethu Joseph spoke about making ‘Drishyam 3’ with Mohanlal in a recent interview. He said that he knew how to end the film and how playback singer KS Chitra gave him an idea about the beginning of the film. Director Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal are yet to officially announce ‘Drishyam 3’, but their latest comments suggest that the film is slowly taking shape.

The filmmaker is promoting his recently released film ‘Nunakuzhi’. During an interview Red FMJeetu spoke Screenplay of ‘Drishyam 3’‘ And how he hasn’t come up with a single exciting idea yet.

He said, “I am free right now. When I made ‘Drishyam’ in 2013, I had no plans for a sequel. It took me five years to arrive at an idea. I had problems in a particular area in the film. Similarly, I am stuck solving a certain area in ‘Drishyam 3’. I know how to finish the film, but I am clueless about other areas.”

“The climax of Drishyam 3 is already in my mind. I narrated it to Mohanlal sir and he liked it too. But, I want to achieve success in that one area,” he said.

Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph’s 2013 release ‘Drishyam’ turned out to be a great hit. The film is about a middle-class man named Georgekutty who can go to any extent to protect his family by hiding a murder. In 2021, they came up with ‘Drishyam 2’ which premiered on OTT. The sequel too received rave reviews.
