Part:

Keeping Euphoria in mind, it is one of the country’s most popular independent music bands, and has been doing live shows for decades, what do you have to say about the poor concert infrastructure about singer Diljit Dosanjh’s alleged comments?

Euphoria has been doing live concerts since 1998. I think we were the first to do it, and since then the scene of the concert has changed so much. And we have been a part of that change, so it is easy to sit and criticize in another country. You have to be a part of that change.

This is really unfair. I love the artist, Diljit Dosanjh. But what he said was unfair. The country that has made you a superstar … please, do not say such things. You have to be grateful. It is very easy to throw stones. All event managers work very hard. Of course, things can always be improved and lack some things, agree. But then we all have to work together. You cannot sit and blame the right.

You said earlier that you did not do any playback in Bollywood because you were not about that. Has anyone come to you with a request to say, prepare a Mary for your film?

No one has contacted me to do a new or remixed version of my hit songs because they know that I am a very nonsense person. Why should someone touch my song? If someone wants me to do that revised version, they should ask me. I will definitely try it.

And on that note, I want to reveal something exciting for the first time. Euphoria is going to re -release, recording and remastering drom and again. All those numbers. It should be released around April. So whoever is asking for Euphoria 2.0 is going to get from the band. We are also doing this for new fans. A lot of this little is heard about us, but perhaps we have never ‘heard’. So this is not only for our old fans, but also for young listeners.

These days, with the performance of so many foreign artists in India, do you have anyone in your dream list, any artist you would like to support?

It has been a dream to collaborate with Beyonse, provided that there is no interference with J-Z (laughing).

Now when it has been so many years of your debut, do you want to achieve anything else?

My dream is for this country when it comes to music, and becomes self -sufficient for our own rich independent music scene. For example, take these last three months. The people here are Gang-Ho about all these international artists, but how many of them support independent Indian musicians? But I will give it to international people as well. They do music for themselves. Here, 90 percent of the artists make (music) for films.

What can be done to improve the position of independent music view?

Therefore, I will give you my example. People do not know what enthusiasm is in the last 15 years, and when we are constantly making music. It is not being promoted so much. Even the Mahakal song which I have done with Akshay (Kumar), people know it because Akshay is associated with it. This is thanks to their stardom. Otherwise, I don’t know how far it would have gone.

In fact, during the epidemic, I wrote a letter to our Prime Minister Shri Modi, which I wanted people to sign. I had demanded in that letter that a package has been allotted to the musicians of this country. Because, at that time, a package was allocated for every industry, but for musicians.

I hope, moving forward, we are able to cultivate a better music scene.
