Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh on Sunday, July 21, shared the first poster of his upcoming Punjabi film Sardaarji 3. Along with the poster, he also announced its release date. The second installment of the Punjabi fantasy horror-comedy Sardaarji was released eight years ago, in 2016. The first film of this franchise came in 2015.

Sharing the motion poster of the film, Diljit wrote on Instagram, ‘Sardarji 3 will release worldwide on 27 June 2025.’ The poster features a silhouette of Diljit and in the background, Diljit is heard correcting a man who calls him Sardar. The actor tells him to call him ‘Sardarji’ and not Sardar.

As soon as Diljit announced the release date of the film, his fans expressed their excitement in the comments section. One of them wrote, ‘Diljit is the ultimate Sardarji.’ Another said, ‘Excitement level 100 (sic).’ A fan commented, ‘Another nostalgia is loading…’ The makers of Sardar Ji 3 have not revealed any further information about the film.

The first part of Sardaar Ji was directed by Rohit Jugraj and also starred Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa. The film had a record opening in the history of Punjabi cinema. The second part of the franchise, sardaar ji 2It was also directed by Jugaraj.
