Directed by Honey Trehan and produced by Ronnie Screwal’s RSVP films, ‘Punjab 95’ is based on the real -life story of Khalara, which highlighted extraordinary murders in Punjab during the 1980s and 90s. However, the film is placed in controversy. It was reportedly asked by the censor board to cut 120, which reflects the sensitivity around its political subjects.
