In an interview with MoneycontrolAsit Modi called the news fake and untrue.
“As you know, social media has become so negative these days that you should try to have a positive mentality. And Tarak Mehta’s Ulta Chashmah is a completely positive show. It is a family show that spreads happiness. So some people should think positive about it. Spreading rumors about small things or anything unfair is not right. It is not a good thing.
Asit Modi also clarified the rumors related to Munmun Dutta’s exit from the show.
Explaining the absence of two actors from the recent episode, the manufacturer said, “There is nothing – everyone is still part of our team. They were missing for some personal reasons at that time. Therefore, there is no issue.”
earlier today, Dutta made all speculation to rest with a post on Instagram. He posted a video from the show’s set. In the clip, she was seen shooting for an upcoming scene. The video offered a glimpse of Iyer’s house with some back footage of Munmun’s makeup room.
