Bollywood actress Divya Seth Shah’s daughter Mihika Shah breathed her last in Mumbai on August 5. She was also the granddaughter of veteran actress Sushma Seth. According to several sources close to the actress, Mihika had a fever and later suffered a stroke.
Sources also said that Mihika Shah’s family is still in shock over her sudden demise. A prayer meeting has been organised on August 8.
An official note signed by Dil Dhadakne Do actress Divya Seth and her husband Siddharth Shah read, “With great sadness, we inform you of the demise of our dear Miheeka Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5, 2024.” The note also mentioned the time and venue of the prayer meeting to be held on Thursday.
On July 29, Divya took to her Instagram account and shared a heartwarming post featuring women from all three generations of her family. She can be seen posing with her daughter, who was all smiles in a green dress, and her mother, who looked beautiful in a red dress. Sharing the picture, the actress wrote in the caption, “DNA is the only reality, everything else is a lot of hard work thanks to the mothership.”
Mihika who would have turned 24 in September this year, was the granddaughter of veteran actress Sushma Seth, known for playing popular roles in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Chal Mere Bhai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Nagina and Student of the Year. Mihika, on the other hand, was still studying and was kept away from the media glare.
Meanwhile, her mother Divya married Siddharth after several years of dating. The actress has done several films and web series. Apart from Dil Dhadakne Do, her films include Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, English Vinglish starring Sridevi, Patel Ki Pubg Shaadi starring Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, Article 370 starring Yami Gautam, and more.
Her web series include Fitrat, City of Dreams, Sandwiched Forever, The Married Woman and Duranga. Her recent web series was The Married Woman directed by Sahir Raza.
