Bobby Deol recalls shooting bare-bodied for the first time in Race 3
Back in 2018, Remo D’Souza joined hands with Salman Khan’s production house for the action-comedy film Race 3. Bhaijaan led the show, accompanied by Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
In the film, we see Khan and Deol flaunting their amazing bodies. But did you know that the Animal star suffered a heatstroke while shooting for a scene in the scorching heat of Jaisalmer?
In a recent interaction with Zoom, Bobby Deol revealed that while walking stylishly bare-bodied was fun, it also made him sick. “I remember we were shooting in Jaisalmer and it was close to 50 degrees. I started shivering and I was like ‘why am I shivering?’ Then I got a heat stroke and nothing happened to Mamu, be it heat or cold, he is very tough. Nothing happened to Salman,” he recalled.
In the same chat, the actor said that Salman, whom he fondly calls Mamu, is the ‘kindest and most honest person’ he has ever met. Recalling his chat with the Tiger 3 star, Bobby said, “I used to tell him that I am lucky to have been cast and he would say, ‘You are not lucky at all. They need you so they take you, he always tells me,'” He shared that Salman’s empowering words give him more self-confidence.
