Did Tom Hardy Address His Final Appearance in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe? No Age Venom: The Last Dance star shares heartfelt statement

Must read

Venom is the franchise that gave a fresh start to Sony’s Spider-Man universe. While its third installment, Venom: The Last Dance, is nearing its release, people are speculating that this will be the last time we see Tom Hardy in a Marvel film. Well, the actor has come out to address this rumour.

In a recent post uploaded to the official page of the Venom film, the actor commented on the film franchise, as well as saying goodbye to it.

As seen on his Instagram, Tom Hardy took out time to promote his upcoming film. Meanwhile, he also made a big statement, which has made fans of the Venom franchise worried about its future.

“That’s all he wrote for me and the big man; We promise to make this the best of them all,” Hardy wrote.

The This Means War actor also mentioned that with the team involved with the Venom films, he loved bringing these epic entries to fans.

While Hardy thanked everyone for the love and support given to the Venom films, he also asked his followers to join him “for the last dance.”

“For those of you who enjoy the good times we all have on the team – let us entertain you,” the actor’s last words read in his post.

Venom: The Last Dance is the third and possibly final entry in the franchise that began in 2018. Its second installment, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, although it featured a stellar cast, received a mixed response from audiences.

Whether or not this will be Hardy’s last film in Sony’s Spider-Man universe, the films surrounding it have not been well received.

So far, the Venom films are the only projects that have received the love they deserve from superhero fanatics, while Madame Web and Morbius were projects that were criticized for their VFX as well as story.

It appears that Hardy saying goodbye to the franchise doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t appear in any future films with his symbiote.

One or both of them may die while fighting Knull, the big bad god of the symbiotes in the upcoming film. We have high chances that Venom and Eddie Brock will appear in Marvel Studios’ movie Avengers: Secret Wars.

Venom: The Last Dance will be released on October 25, 2024.
