Thalapathi Vijay starrer Jana Nayagan has been slated to hit a big screen on 9 January 2026. Next to the release of the superstar’s alleged final film, a report shows that the actor took a large amount as remuneration.

According to a report by Today, Thalapathy Vijay paid a salary of Rs 275 crore from the manufacturers of Jan Naygan. Interestingly, the remuneration was an advance payment for a superstar without any share from the profits of the film.
According to a report by Financial Express, Vijay was paid an amount of about 200 crores, which was a remuneration for the largest (goat) ever. However, the details about the payment have not been confirmed.
