Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are making headlines as it is reported that the actress and her husband are separating after 16 years of marriage. Amidst news that has worried fans of the couple, an old report resurfaced on the internet in which the Honey actress revealed that her marriage with the filmmaker was like that of a roommate.
In 2024, the actress spoke to Katherine Schwarzenegger when she revealed details about her union with Warren.
In her old conversation with the podcast host, the actress claimed that the first two years of marriage paint a rosy picture, and then it all changed with them becoming roommates for each other.
Elaborating on the statements, Alba revealed, “I would say everything has been good for two and a half years.” He added, “But then you become roommates. You’re just going through the motions, responsibilities. “It’s a lot like checking boxes.”

Alba and Warren met on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2004 and married four years later. The actress and her husband also have three children, Honor, Heaven and Hayes.
Further in her conversation with Schwarzenegger, the actress said, “I think maybe he will get success soon. I’d say it’s not even him, I’d say it’s us, right? Because when I’m seeing him and spending time with him, and we’re really enjoying each other, it’s our kind of thing. And it feeds me too.”
Amid reports of the divorce filing, a source close to Alba and the producer revealed that the two will still be in touch all the time for the sake of their children.
