Dhruv Vikram is fresh from the success of his latest venture, Bison, directed by Mari Selvaraj. Now, buzz is that the actor might have rejected the idea of starring in the Tamil remake of Kill because of the advice from the director of his recent film.
Did Mari Selvaraj advise Dhruv Vikram not to act in Kill remake?
According to an online report, it is speculated that Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram has refused to play the lead role in the Tamil remake of Kill. Apparently, after starring in Bison, director Mari Selvaraj advised him not to work in such violent films.
Since the actor has great respect for the filmmaker, Dhruv has reportedly rejected the idea of acting in the film. However, it is not yet clear whether this is true or not and this news remains speculative.
For those unaware, it was earlier rumored that Dhruv might play the lead role in the Tamil remake of Kill. The remake rights were reportedly sold, with the legendary actor expected to play the role originally played by Lakshya in the Hindi version.
Additionally, it was speculated that actor-director Vijay Kumar would play the role of the main antagonist. However, no official update has been given yet.

Kill is an action-thriller film that was released in theaters across India on 5 July 2024 after premiering at IFFI 2023. Starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles, the story revolves around NSG commando Amrit, who travels to meet his girlfriend Tulika after learning that she is engaged to someone else.
As they try to understand their relationship, Tulika and her family travel from Ranchi to New Delhi, with Amrit also boarding the train. However, chaos ensues when a group of dacoits enter the train, leading to an intense fight for survival.
Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Tanya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya and many others in lead roles.

Dhruv Vikram was last seen in the sports action drama Bison. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film focuses on the story of a young player named Kittan, who dreams of becoming a professional Kabaddi player and representing India on the international stage.
Looking to the future, the actor is expected to star in a film directed by Mani Ratnam. However, no official confirmation has been made yet.
