Dhurandhar collected Rs. Earned around Rs.12 crores on its fifth Sunday and Rs.5 crores in its fifth weekend. Approximately Rs 31 crore nett. The decline from the fourth weekend was only 45 percent. This is not only the biggest fifth weekend ever for a Hindi film, but also the biggest fifth weekend in just three days. Earlier, the film had made a record of earning in five days in the second week, four days in the third week and three days in the fourth week.
The total earning of the film was Rs. Earning approximately Rs 733.50 crore after thirty-one days of release. It is now only Rs. Pushpa 2 (Hindi) is Rs 5 crore short of becoming the highest grossing Hindi film of all time. It should get there by Tuesday, unless it shows unusually strong hold and takes the record today. Starting today, the movie is largely out of the holiday period, and it will be the first normal day after a long period of holidays. This should lead to a significant decline in business, but then again, you’ll never know how many surprises this movie has created so far.
Going forward the film will easily cross the crore mark. Probably the figure of 750 crores by the end of this week. Expiry of more than Rs. A deal worth Rs 775 crore has been done. The only question now is how close it can get to Rs. 800 crore nett, or can it actually cross it.
