Dhurandhar 2 in Pakistan: Viral video claims pirated film is being watched in Lahore
Despite the ban on Indian films, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 is reportedly gaining attention in Pakistan. A viral video has surfaced online showing a man in Lahore watching a pirated version of the film.
Not just Indians, but Pakistanis too are reportedly showing keen interest in Ranveer Singh’s latest film Dhurandhar 2. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film released in Indian theaters on March 19 to rave reviews from critics, celebrities and audiences alike.
Now, a video circulated on X shows a man claiming to have watched the film in Lahore. It features a key scene displayed on a television screen showing Ranveer in a pirated version. The caption of the post reads, ‘I am watching Dhurandhar 2 In Lahore (sic).”

Despite the official ban on Indian films in Pakistan, the film was available for just 50 PKR (about Rs 16), surprising many viewers online.
Rock expressed surprise in his video, saying, ‘Indian films are banned in Pakistan, but look what I got.’ The shopkeeper confirmed the authenticity of the film, saying, “It is an Indian film.” stalwart. It has been released recently.” When asked about the price, the seller replied, “Sir, it is in PKR 50 (Rs 16).”
Attack on OTT despite the ban!

An excerpt from India Today’s review for Dhurandhar 2 read, “Dhurandhar: Revenge Expands, sharpens, and builds on its predecessor. It executes with intent what the first film hinted at: more violence, greater scale, greater emotional breakdown, and an even deeper obsession with revenge.”
The film also stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun along with Ranveer.
