Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: Revenge It is performing brilliantly at the box office. The film is now racing towards the Rs 1,000 crore earning mark in India and is expected to cross the milestone by the end of its second weekend. After nine days, it reached a massive collection of Rs 715.72 crore, i.e. total earning of Rs 854.99 crore.

The film collected a robust Rs 41.55 crore on its second Friday – which is impressive by any standards. As it enters its second weekend, the momentum is expected to pick up, with estimates estimating collections of over Rs 50 crore on both Saturday and Sunday. This surge could comfortably take the film into the Rs 1,000 crore nett club in India.

Dhurandhar 2 It has already emerged as the fastest Bollywood entrant into the Rs 1,000 crore club and, along with its predecessor, has pushed the franchise into the Rs 2,000 crore league. Directed by Ranveer Singh, the film is currently the biggest force in Indian cinema, even closing in on the worldwide benchmark set by Pushpa 2 – and notably, without a release in the Gulf market.

Directed, written and produced by Dhar, the film has sparked conversations globally around its themes, politics, performance and music. With no major Hindi releases in sight, its dominance at the box office is expected to increase further in the second weekend.

The film is based on the story of an Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh, and also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan in lead roles.
