Dharmendra prayer meeting: Salman Khan, Abhishek-Aishwarya, celebs honor He-Man’s legacy
Celebrities including Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai gathered at the prayer meeting of veteran actor Dharmendra on Thursday to honor him. This legend, known as the He-Man of Indian cinema, passed away on November 24 at the age of 89.
Salman Khan was also among the other celebs who attended Dharmendra’s prayer meeting. The legacy of the veteran actor was celebrated with a musical evening.

The ceremony titled ‘Celebration of Life’ was organized by the Deol family at the Seaside Lawn, Taj Lands End, Bandra.

According to an ANI report, a heartfelt musical tribute was organized in the late actor’s honour. The entire Deol family including Sunny, Bobby and Karan also thanked the people present there with folded hands for the tremendous support and love.

Dharmendra died on 24 November. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to health complications. Many reports also said that he was put on a ventilator after having difficulty breathing.

Dharmendra’s last rites were first performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle.

Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur; He is survived by his second wife Hema Malini and six children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta and Ajeeta from his first marriage, and Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from his second marriage.
