Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his astraged wife Dhanashree Verma have been making headlines since the news of his leadership for divorce like wildfire. Even though celebs never spoke openly about it, they were seen in the Family Court on March 20, 2025, where their divorce was finalized. Passing through a road in his personal life, Verma released a music video, which dealt with the subjects of adultery and domestic violence.
On March 20, 2025, choreographer and social media sensation Dhanashree Verma took on her Instagram handle and announced the release of her new music video under the title ‘Dekha Ji Dekh Men’. Patal folk actor Ishwak Singh in the track and domestic violence, adultery and toxic relations are related to the subject.

Earlier, the Bombay High Court waived the six-month cooling-off period and directed the family court to finalize the divorce proceedings of the celebs by 20 March 2025. Therefore, on Thursday, both Verma and Chahal were seen arriving in the Bandra family court with their legal team for their divorce.
After the proceedings, Nitin Kumar Gupta, a lawyer to Yuzvendra Chahal, confirmed ANI that the court had divorced the celebs. “The court has accepted a joint petition of both sides. Parties are no longer husband and wife,” said Advocate. According to a report by bar and bench, Chahal has been prepared to pay Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanushree Verma.
For unknown, Chahal and Dhanashree got married in a private ceremony in 2020. However, before filing for divorce in February 2025, they lived separately for two years by mutual consent. Earlier, social media went up until when the Indian cricketer was seen with his friend RJ Mahwash in the recently concluded Champions Trophy 2025 final.
