Dhanashree Verma is all set to step into the acting world with her debut in the Telugu film ‘Akasam Datritawa’. It is said to be a dancing-focused project, the film is supported by the appreciated producer Dil Raju, which is known for giving South Indian hits such as ‘Sankranti Vastunam’, ‘Varisu’, and ‘Hit: The First Case’.

Directed by Mr. Sasi Kumar, ‘Akasam Daata Vastwa’ is a fresh attire artist, the details of which are expected to be declared soon, according to this Hollywood Reporter India.

Earlier reports suggested that choreographer Yash would play the lead role, while Malayalam actor Karthika Muralitharan is ready to appear in an important role. Sources also said that Dhanashree has already shot parts of the film in Mumbai, which has the remaining sequences filmed in Hyderabad.

Born in Mumbai and grew up, Dhanashree has a degree in dentistry. While pursuing his career in the medical field, his passion for dance motivated him to train him under the legendary choreographer Shiciacular Dever. She eventually went to establish her own dance academy, Dhanashree Verma Company.

Dhanashree grew prominently through her dynamic dance videos on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, where she is known to combine traditional Indian dance forms with modern styles. His high-energy performance and collaboration with popular celebrities have promoted his popularity online.

On the individual front, Dhanashree married Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal on 22 December 2020. However, it was reportedly in February 2025 that the couple filed for divorce, which was finalized in March 2025.
