Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and model-choreographer Dhanashree Verma have been divorced by the Bombay High Court. The decision came about a month after filing a divorce petition earlier this year in February. On the other hand, Chahal’s T-shirt attracted everyone’s attention for hearing.
On 20 March, Yuzvendra Chahal appeared before the Bombay High Court for divorce proceedings with Dhanashree Verma. When he reached the Bombay High Court, he was seen donating a black jacket with his head and made a face with a mask. They paired it with denim pants and geeky glasses.
However, after the final decision came, the cricketer was seen exiting the court from his jacket. He was seen taking it in his hand and flaunting a black T-shirt with “B. Your on Sugar Daddy” written on it. Soon after Chahal’s appearance, the video went viral on the Internet, in which many users were reacting to it.

Many users expressed surprise at the cricketer wearing a T-shirt with such a lesson on the cricketer, while many Vinodi explained the meaning of ‘Sugar Daddy’. He said that Chahal was sending a message to everyone to be ‘financially independent’.
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma got married in a dream wedding in 2020, when the Kovid -19 epidemic after their romance blooming. However, his love was short-lived, and the pair soon began to live separately. During his court hearing, the former-Doposh informed the court that he had been living separately since June 2022.
Keeping in mind Chahal’s commitments with the upcoming IPL season starting from March 22, 2025, the Bombay High Court directed Bandra’s family court to speed up divorce proceedings. Subsequently, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra were divorced on 20 March 2025 today.
The update was officially confirmed by Chahal’s lawyer after exiting the court from the proceedings. Talking with the media, he said, “Divorce is done, marriage is dissolved.” However, the lawyer was fed up with the decision on alimony.
On the other hand, the family waived the cooling period and the Indian cricketer was asked to pay Rs 4.75 crore to Dhanashree in alimony.
