The new posters of Siddhanta Chaturvedi and Triptai Dimri-Starrer ‘Dhadak 2’ were unveiled today with the release date. Produced by directed Shazia Iqbal and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film will be a hit in theaters on August 1, 2025.

After the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’, ‘Dadhad 2’ continued the discovery of Dharma Productions, which was a remake of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Soti’, who told the tragic story of a romance between a low-caste boy and an upper-caste girl.

After facing the delay, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptidi Dimri-Starr were recently approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate. But the film had to go through 16 major changes before receiving approval.

The film, which examines the subjects of caste and social discrimination, was originally slated for release in November 2024, but was pushed by March 2025 due to certification delay. It is now finally ready to release in August.
