The much-awaited Telugu trailer of Jr NTR’s film Devraa: Part 1 was released today, September 22. The two minute and seven second clip shows a new exciting twist between the film’s hero Jr NTR and villain Saif Ali Khan. Moreover, the trailer shows Jr NTR in a double role, which adds an interesting layer to the story.

The Telugu trailer begins with Jr NTR’s character emerging out of the sea soaked in blood, which sets a dramatic tone. The action then moves into an intense underwater fight sequence, which raises anticipation for the level of violence to be shown in the film. Saif Ali Khan’s character is introduced as a formidable antagonist driven by a thirst for revenge.

In one scene, Jr NTR and Saif’s characters engage in a tense encounter, followed by a surprising moment of dancing together, which arouses curiosity about their complicated relationship. Towards the end of the clip, Jr NTR appears in a dual role, which adds another layer of complexity to the narrative.

In her much-awaited Telugu debut, Janhvi Kapoor plays the romantic lead of Devra’s son, also played by Jr NTR.

Directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, Devraa: Part 1 will hit theatres on September 27. It is bankrolled by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
