Popular TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has slammed ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ contestants Armaan Malik, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. In a recent post, she criticised them for promoting polygamy on reality TV. The actress also slammed the makers of Bigg Boss for their selection process.

In an extended post on her ex handle, Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared her thoughts on her marriage, writing that she ‘feels disgusted to hear about it.’

The ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actor began by asking, “Do you think this is entertainment? This is not entertainment, this is filth. Don’t make the mistake of taking this lightly because this is not just a reel, this is real. I mean, I can’t even understand how can someone call this shamelessness entertainment? I am disgusted just hearing about it. Disgusting. I mean, in just 6/7 days, love happened, marriage happened and then the same thing happened with the wife’s best friend. This is beyond my imagination.”

He questioned the makers of the show and said, “And Bigg Boss, what has happened to you? Are you having such a bad day? “Do you find polygamy entertaining? What were you thinking when you introduced such contestants? This show is watched by everyone, from children to the elderly. What do you want to teach the new generation? That they can have 2-3-4 marriages? That everyone can live happily together? Go and ask those who suffer from such incidents every day, and live their lives in misery.”

Devoleena said, “That is why Special Marriage Act and UCC (Uniform Civil Code) should be made compulsory. So that the law is same for everyone and the society can be free from such filth. Second wife while having the first wife. Imagine if in the name of equality wives start keeping two husbands, will you still be entertained?”

She also questioned the people who follow Armaan Malik on social media. She wrote, “And I don’t understand who are his followers. And for what reason do they follow him? Are your mind in the right place or not, please get it treated first. If you think this shamelessness is right then your life is ruined. You can’t think anything beyond this nor can you do anything about it. What do you want to teach the new generation, that they should do multiple marriages? This is disgusting.”

Devoleena said, “This very idea is shameful. And if it is so important to have 2-3 marriages then do it and stay at home. Don’t spread this dirty mentality in the world. As a society we are only heading towards destruction. People have really gone mad. And Bigg Boss, I don’t know what has happened to you.”
