Shahid Kapoor is building excitement for his upcoming action-entertainer Deva & How. While everyone is busy with their New Year celebrations, the actor delighted fans with the first look poster of his upcoming film, which also takes major inspiration from megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
On January 1, Shahid Kapoor posted the motion poster of his upcoming film Deva on his Instagram handle. In the pictures, the actor showed off his raucous look inspired by legendary megastar Amitabh Bachchan from the film Deewaar. We can see the iconic classic scene of Big B in the background wearing a blue shirt with a cigarette in his mouth and hands on his head.
On the other hand, Shahid is looking extremely dangerous as he is shown smoking a cigarette and wearing a white shirt which shows off his massive body, bald look and a locket around his neck. The name of the film Deva was written in the background along with the red color and release date. Kapoor’s look looks even more spectacular with stylish red glasses. “Lock N Load,” the post was captioned. He also added the song Marzi Cha Malik in the background of the song.

Soon after, the comments section was filled with comments expressing their appreciation for the poster. Shahid’s brother, Ishaan Khatter wrote, “Lessgoooooooooooo” followed by a bomb emoji, Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Looking hard sir” while his Jersey co-star, Mrunal Thakur said, “Hey Deva, a number!”
Furthermore, many fans flooded the comments section praising the poster. “I can’t wait to see you in the theater,” one fan said, while another fan said, “Just when I thought it couldn’t get any hotter, here comes Deva!” Additionally, a third fan enthused, “This poster has blown me away! If this is the first look, I can’t even imagine the movie!!” And another fan said, “Shahid is serving up the show and we are all living for it!!”
Directed by Roshan Andrews, the upcoming hard-core action entertainer has Pooja Hegde sharing the spotlight with Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati in a pivotal role. Presented by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, it is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Umesh Kumar Bansal. It will be released in theaters on 31 January 2025.
