Devara Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, has registered a stellar run at the worldwide box office. As of 12 am on the release day, Devara Part 1 has sold tickets worth Rs 80 crore on the opening day. Out of Rs 80 crore, Rs 49 crore is from India while Rs 31 crore is from abroad. In India, Andhra Pradesh is on fire and internationally, North America’s progress is merely disappointing.

Devara has already sold tickets worth Rs 80 crore for the opening day; ready for a wonderful day 1

Advance earnings of Devara Part 1 suggest an opening day of around Rs 120 crore. If things are positive then things can go even higher. Devara must have really wanted the Hindi market to be involved from day one. The trailer of the film was not liked by the North Indian audience and hence the progress of the film is low. Yes, there are better advances in mass circuits but it is still not enough. For Part 2 to get a really massive spread, the word of mouth promotion should be like Pushpa.

Devara is considering reclaiming 35-40 percent of its theatrical rights on the opening day itself

The opening day of Devara will take care of 35-40 percent recovery of the film and that is absolutely phenomenal. Good word of mouth of the people is enough for the film to become a hit. However, producers don’t just want hits. They also want their film to do well in the Hindi version as Hindi audiences take the potential of a sequel to an accepted film to another level.
