Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1, which broke records at the box office, has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India and Rs 200 crore worldwide. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles.

Despite mixed reviews, the film has been a hit with the audience, largely due to Jr NTR’s huge fan following, which has established it as a crowd-pleasing entertainer. According to Sacknilk, The film made a strong start to its journey at the box officeEarned over Rs 140 crore globally on its opening day. On the second day, the film earned Rs 38.2 crore in India, taking its total to Rs 120.7 crore.

The pan-India film was released on Friday in five languages, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

On Saturday, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 60.23 percent in the Telugu market, while it saw 18.15 percent in the Hindi region, 28.02 percent in Kannada, 24.89 percent in Tamil and 15.95 percent in Malayalam.

Globally the film managed to enter the Rs 200 crore club and earned Rs 243 crore in two days.

So far, it has become Jr NTR highest grossing single opener for both and Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the lead role. It’s also the second-biggest opener of the year and is poised for an even more remarkable weekend.

Devaraa Part 1 is Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years after 2018’s Aravind Sametha Veera Raghava., She was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s RRR opposite Ram Charan in 2022.
