Shahid Kapoor’s first 2025 film, Dava, recently hit a big screen. While the film is starting to attract the attention of the audience, he participated in an interview, in which he shared his views about films and OTT. Asked if the stardom is impressed by overdoing the OTT, we met the actor Jab said that he has done only one show for a popular streaming platform. “If I have done a lot of shows, I agree what you are saying,” he took a pinch.
Kapoor further stated that OTT gives an actor a different opportunity and as a creative person, he is only interested in giving the audience a great experience. After saying this, he is trying to find a balance between them. “I think, Pazarzi has added a lot to me as an actor. It has added a new audience. And so I have a film,” Shahid said that both have their own place. That they both do it in a balanced way and do not overdo it.
Coming to his film Dava, the action-thriller was released in theaters on 31 January 2025. At the beginning of Hindi directed by Rasan Andrews and built by Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Actioner also acted as a female lead. They are associated with Pavel Gulati, Kubbara set and many others.
On the other hand, Shahid also has the next of Vishal Bhardwaj, which is temporarily titled Arjun Ustara. Talking about the film, Kapoor told PTI, “This is naturally a love story that is based against the backdrop of Mumbai gangsters in the ’90s’. While Triptai Dimri will play the lead roles, Nana Patekar, Randeep Hooda and Vikrant Massey will also be seen in the film.
