Demon Colony 3: Arulnithi returns to face the ghostly forces, first look poster out
The third installment of the Demonte Colony horror-thriller series is set for release in summer 2026, with Arulnithi and the lead cast returning. The film’s first look hints at new and continuing threats.

Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the upcoming film continues the horror story established in the previous installments, hinting that the curse at the heart of the franchise is far from over. The new glimpse hints at an atmosphere filled with dread, suggesting that evil remains dominant as the story progresses.
While the makers have kept the plot details under wraps, the tagline of the third installment is ‘The end is too far’. It is like this Demonte Colony 2The tagline of, ‘Vengeance of the Unholy’, and strongly indicates that the horrific events that started earlier remain unresolved. The first look reinforces the idea that the characters’ battle against the supernatural is becoming more intense, setting the stage for another unsettling dramatic experience.

Arulnithi reprises his role, once again joined by Priya Bhavani Shankar, Archana Ravichandran, Muthukumar and Meenakshi Govindarajan, who all return from the previous films. His presence suggests narrative continuity and a direct extension of the franchise’s established mythology.
On the technical front, Demonte Colony 3 Brings back a familiar team. Sam CS is on board as the music composer, while Shivakumar Vijayan handles the cinematography. The editing is by Kumaresh D, while the dialogues are written by Pattukottai Prabhakar. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal and Durgaram Choudhary, while RC Rajkumar, Akshat Singhal and Mohit Singhal are co-producers.
Marking the tenth anniversary of the original Demonte Colony In May 2025, director Ajay Gnanamuthu had said that the team was committed to delivering a “stunning, cinematic and unforgettable theatrical experience”, outlining the ambition behind the third chapter.
Adding to the intrigue, Arulnithi has previously revealed that the franchise may expand further, with Ajay Gnanamuthu already exploring ideas for a possible fourth installment, depending on how the upcoming films are received. Following the success of the first two installments, the third film has already generated significant anticipation among fans of the horror genre.
