Dell today launched a new PC lineup with Copilot AI PCs in India, namely XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus. The XPS 13 features Snapdragon, while the Inspiron 14 Plus features Snapdragon processors to enhance user’s AI experience. Both the laptops promise all-day battery life, giving users a hassle-free search, creation, and work experience. The devices also feature integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for local AI processing as well as Copilot+ feature, providing users with improved performance, productivity, efficiency, and convenience.

Dell XPS 13 specifications

The Dell XPS 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X1 EliteX1E-80-100 CPU that offers high performance and efficiency to users. The performance is also boosted by the GPU and NPU, with the Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon NPU ensuring smooth graphics performance, low heat emission, and minimal noise.

The new Dell XPS 13 comes with an impressive battery life of up to 27 hours on a single charge, including up to 27 hours of continuous streaming on the FHD+ display. The XPS 13 also features an OLED display option, for higher brightness and lower power consumption, increasing activity time by more than 10% compared to previous OLED generations.

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 processor, which is designed for versatile performance. It also offers up to 21 hours of local video playback or up to 15 hours of 4K content streaming on a single charge with its QHD+ display. The new Inspiron variant also features dual microphones that support voice commands, effectively capturing audio for a seamless user experience. Qualcomm’s Always-On Sensing technology and Presence Detection enhance security by enabling secure logins and preventing onlookers from viewing screen content.

AI Experience

Both the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus offer AI experiences powered by the Snapdragon X Series platform, allowing users to be more productive. The laptops also feature Cocreator that enables users to create AI-generated images using descriptive words and brushstrokes, while Live Caption translates live or pre-recorded audio from 44 languages ​​into English. Additionally, new Windows Studio effects allow users to adjust lighting and provide creative filters to enhance call collaboration, making these laptops more suitable for productivity and creativity.

Pricing and Availability in India

Dell has launched its new XPS 13 in three variants. The base variant is priced at Rs 1,39,990, while the most high-end variant is priced at Rs 1,69,990.

On the other hand, the Inspiron 14 Plus has been launched in two variants. The base variant is priced at Rs 115,590 and the high-end variant is priced at Rs 119,590.

The new XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus will be available to customers starting July 16, 2024. Interested buyers will be able to purchase the laptops from large format retail partners such as Dell.com, DES, Croma, Reliance Retail, and Vijay Sales, as well as multi-brand outlets and Amazon.in.
